Zara Harrison - Charity Trustee and Instructor

Zara came to us at Team Tutsham via our affiliation with the Dartford and District Riding Club. She has been a member there for ten years.

Born into an equestrian family, Zara has been riding since the age of two. She got her first pony, Polly, when just four years old and they began to join in at Pony Club events. When she turned ten years of age she moved on to her next pony, Twinkle, who she used to ride and drive. They enjoyed many years at Pony Club, one day eventing and hunter trials.

When eighteen, Zara purchased Tyler, an ex-race horse, that she has now owned for fourteen years. Zara and Tyler have competed at British Eventing Championships at Lincoln and Aston Le Walls with great success.

In 2014 Zara bought a second horse, Rebel, whom she also successfully competes with at BE level.

We feel very fortunate to have a successful rider such as Zara at Team Tutsham. With her bright and cheerful personality she is a delight to have at Saddle Club and is a true inspiration to our youngsters and up and coming riders. Despite her busy schedule she always finds time to offer extra support to our riders that compete locally and goes the extra mile travelling out to support them at competitions.
