Meet Dr. Amalia Gasson

Clinical Psychologist (DClinPsy, HCPC Registered) and Equine Assisted Therapist

Dr. Amalia Gasson is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience across the NHS, education, and private sectors since 2009.
Her professional interests include mental health, physical health, and neurodivergence. Prior to qualifying as a psychologist, Amalia worked in research roles within the public sector.

Her passion for horses began in childhood, when she volunteered at a local riding school and experienced firsthand the power of horses in developing connection and confidence. Today, she shares her life with a beautiful Welsh Cob named Iris, who—along with her family and Ziggy the cat—supports the growth of her equine-assisted therapy service.

Amalia is deeply committed to supporting young people, their families, and carers—particularly those who have struggled to have their individual challenges recognised, impacting their ability to engage meaningfully with education or mental health services.

She is looking forward to meeting you!
