Meet Zara – Saddle Club Lead Coach and Trustee
Born into an equestrian family, Zara has been riding since the age of two
Her passion for horses began early with her first pony, Polly, at just four years old, and she quickly became active in Pony Club events. By the age of ten, Zara transitioned to her next pony, Twinkle, with whom she shared many memorable years of riding and driving. Together, they excelled in Pony Club activities, one-day eventing, and hunter trials.
At eighteen, Zara took her equestrian journey to the next level by purchasing Tyler, an ex-racehorse. Zara and Tyler achieved notable success, competing at prestigious British Eventing Championships at Lincoln and Aston Le Walls. In 2014, Zara bought her current horse Rebel who have also enjoyed significant achievements at BE-level competitions.
Zara’s wealth of experience and success in eventing make her an invaluable part of Team Tutsham. Her bright and cheerful personality lights up our Saddle Club, where she inspires and mentors the next generation of riders. Despite her busy competition schedule, Zara goes above and beyond to support our young riders, often traveling to local competitions to cheer them on and provide guidance.
We are incredibly fortunate to have Zara as part of the Team Tutsham family. Her dedication, expertise, and supportive nature make her a true role model for our up-and-coming equestrians.
