Clara’s ABRS+ Special Recognition for Coaching Excellence isn’t just about outstanding coaching – it’s about her unwavering commitment to being a voice for the horse.
Every day, Clara challenges us to put horses at the heart of everything we do by asking the horse one simple but powerful question: “What are you feeling in this moment?”
She is on a mission to educate the next generation of equestrians about the importance of the language we use. Horses are not naughty, lazy or angry. These labels don’t help us understand them. Their behaviour is communication, telling us how they are feeling, what they have learned, or what they need from us.
If we stop judging and start listening, we can create better experiences, stronger partnerships and happier lives for our horses.
