Staff from across the Academy and Therapy teams came together for a dedicated day of training, planning and preparation ahead of the new academic year.
The full team gathered together for what was a particularly special day, providing an opportunity for colleagues to reconnect, share knowledge and prepare for the year ahead.
With the organisation continuing to grow, bringing the entire Academy and Therapy teams together in one place was a valuable opportunity to reflect on the progress made so far and look ahead to the year to come.
The day included training and planning across a range of key areas, including the Academy curriculum, trauma-informed practice, sensory needs, horse welfare and handling.
Alongside the practical preparation, the team also focused on the principles that underpin their work: ensuring that children’s wellbeing, individual needs and experiences remain at the centre of everything they do.
The session provided an opportunity for staff to ensure they are aligned in their approach and ready to provide a safe, supportive and enriching environment for every child.
With preparations now well underway, the team is looking forward to welcoming children back next week.
The new academic year will see familiar faces return alongside a number of new children joining the Academy and Therapy community for the first time. Staff are looking forward to helping new pupils settle in, getting to know them and supporting them as they begin their individual journeys.
As the new year approaches, the team is excited for what lies ahead — with a programme full of opportunities to learn, grow, connect and have fun together.
